Via di fuga / Escape routes

We humans deal with highly philosophical questions, the dating of stars and artificial intelligence. However, our species seems to have a deficit in terms of the instinct of long-term survival by placing itself outside and above natural systems, to the point of wanting to "protect" them. It seems absurd that we are moving more and more towards the ether, the digital and artificial, while at the same time struggling with survival instincts and escape routes.
